My favorite thing about being in the bridges program is that I have class with the same people for most of my classes. I have goten to know some of these people well. I also like that I can take VCSU classes. My favorite class is Photogoraphy. I look forward to Tuesdays every week becasue of photography and because I do nothing on Tuesdays. I also get to sleep in!
My bigest problem with the bridges program has been my financial aid. I thought I had all of my things squared away but I guess not. I still have to have my mom sign a paper and figure out what is going on with the W2's. I am also haveing a hard time in my CARS, and History class. In my History class I have a hard time taking notes. I do not know what to write down or what is inportant. Also he talks fast and uses pictures a lot. Another problem with him is that he is not actually here and I can not go ask quetions after class. I have had a problem with accepting his emails as well. The problems I have faced in CARS is that I do not like the class and finde it redundent to this class. The boys on the other end are loud and obnoxious, they make it dificult to understand what Amy is saying. There have been soem problems with our blogs and quizes for those of us who already had one at our highschool. We do not always get our assignments because the ITV has cut off or because we can not here.

The Future.......
What are your goals for this semester?
My goals for this semester is to stay caught up in all of my classes, and to pass them. If I do not stay caught up and pay atension I could fail the class. I can not afford to fail college. Another reason I want to stay is becasue I would have no idea where to go or what to do. My grades are inportant to me, I would be happy with C's but if I can do it I would like to get mostly B's. It is a high goal for me but if I keep working hard and if ido not slack off I think I can do it.
What are your goals for the year, and for college?
My goals for the year are to build a better relationsiop with my mom, step-dad, and my brtother Anthony. I would like to fix the relationship with my dad and try to forgive him. However I cannot put all of my focus on my family. I need to do well in school. To do this I need to manage my time effectively. My last goal for the year is to open up and allow people in rather than keeping my life to myself.. My goals for college are simar to these goals and my semester goals. For college I would like to keep my grades up. I would like my grades to be B's and C's. I want to make friendships that will last all of college and after. This means I can not close myself off. Staying involved in college activities, and staying caught up in my homework will take some good time management.

Technology
Technology has helped me find my assignments and keeps me organized. On the other hand it makes it difficult because I do not know how to use it. I get frustrated with the technology and I think it would be easier to do it the old fashioned way. Pencil and paper work just fine for me plus I learn the material better when I write it out myself. I think technology will help me more after I learn how to use it.
